Psychology of Power: How People Manipulate, Frame Reality, and Avoid Accountability

A book that names what you've felt but couldn't explain.

By Sami Bsoul, PhD

Control is most stable when the target believes they are acting freely. Psychology of power: How people manipulate..

@sami.bsoul Manipulation is the strategic use of uncertainty. Control is most stable when the target believes they are acting freely. Then, manipulation succeeds when you start self-correcting before they have to. Trauma bonding is not weakness. It’s stress chemistry repeated often enough to feel like connection. The body confuses emotional volatility with significance. #psychologyofpower ♬ original sound - Sami Bsoul

Some people try to outplay you. The real advantage is letting them believe they have already won. This is about patience, psychological awareness, perception, and the quiet power of being underestimated. Not every game is won by reacting. Some are won by observing, staying unreadable, and letting others expose their own intentions. The smartest move is the one they never see coming.#psychologyofpower

@sami.bsoul Brains can’t distinguish between your value and what surrounds you, tie them together, and you’ll always feel small. Your mind will obey what you feed it, if it lives in what can disappear, it will always starve. Anything outside you is unstable; only your own self-respect lasts in the long run. Re-set People vs. Dismantle People. We all know both types. The ones who fill you up and the ones who leave you hollow. "Re-set" people make you feel seen, heard, lighter. You leave them and the world makes sense again. "Dismantle" people do the opposite. They don't mean to, or maybe they do. Either way, they take. They ask questions but don't listen. They were loading. They talk but don't exchange. The "re-set" ones? Rare. Don't lose them.
