I am glad that thanks to Sami, I returned to learning Hebrew after many years. Thanks to him, this time it was finally successful. You can see Sami loves to teach, he cares about his pupils and their advancement, and what again and again surprised me in a positive sense, was his endless patience. His classes are full of grammar, vocabulary but also slang or Israeli songs. Besides the regular text book, Sami also upgrades the lessons with his own material. Sami’s mantra is repetition – if you think you already mastered the easy staff, it is only thanks to the continuous repeating. In this regard, Sami’s classes are superb. “I started learning Hebrew because of my field work in tourism. If you listen to a foreign language on a daily basis, then you would want to speak it as well.

I get used to talking to native speakers, so when I knew that in

Bratislava there is a native speaker who teaches Hebrew, I didn't hesitate to register to his courses. I was always looking forward to the Hebrew lessons. It was not only about language, but also about the way Sami is teaching. From the very beginning, he aroused in me a respect for learning, so I was still feeling ready for his class.

At very first, writing was difficult for me but since I enjoyed the Hebrew lessons immensely, I did not intend to give up.

After a year of learning Hebrew, I was able to build alone a website in Hebrew. The effectiveness of Sami’s lessons is therefore demonstrable. Every Thursday, I liked to spend a few hours with Sam and my classmates. Learning Hebrew language gave me a lot of love for Hebrew and Israelis; it gave me fun and friendship, and a desire to continue learning until I reach fluent speaker level.

Finally, when my Israeli tourists praise my Hebrew, I keep telling them that I have the best teacher. :) באהבה “

Hi all current and future students of the State Language School, and especially 
the students of the exotic languages, as Hebrew certainly is. I have not seriously 
learned a foreign language in my life, unless I count Russian in primary school, 
Latin in secondary school and German in high school. I didn't know what to expect 
from learning Hebrew, but after a year I can say that the acquired knowledge and 
the way of teaching exceeded my expectations.

We started regularly in September, but after a few lessons, the lockdown hit us all, a thing 
which had its advantages and disadvantages in terms of learning Online.
Our teacher Sami gradually and patiently taught us the Hebrew letters, letter by letter, 
to the and initially explained to us the peculiarities of this language.
Over time we were able to read the Hebrew text.
For me, it was a little worse with vocabulary and grammar (at my age), but we still made 
an amazing progress overall.
Apart from our efforts, we certainly wouldn't have done it without Sami and his approach 
towards us. We successfully passed tests after the first year, and is a fact that speaks of itself.
We are looking forward to September again!
Sami, thank you l! ... We will all continue leaning!

"I really enjoy Hebrew class with Sami.

He leads the lesson systematically and creatively and in such a

way that we work the whole time of the lesson with interest,

whether I am just called out to answer or not.

He can use the materials not only according to the assignment,

but also creatively and inspiring, and he can get the most out of all this for us.

I like that he wants us to really understand the specific grammar,

text or meaning we are just taking over, and he doesn't hesitate to go back

"I myself was fascinated by Sami as a teacher and as well as a person in the first hour.
I came to the language school with the expectation that in the first weeks I would only learn the alphabet, but to my surprise,
I knew the alphabet after the first class and after a few weeks I wrote and read my first sentences in Hebrew.
