Psalm 150 | Halleluyah | תהילים ק"נ | הללויה | Sami Bsoul
Sami Bsoul, PhD
This is Psalm 150, the final and most exalted psalm in the Book of Tehillim, whose very name means "Praises." "Halleluyah! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power." It is not merely a prayer; it is pure praise, seen by Jewish tradition as the
climax of the entire Psalter. The entire psalm is a series of ten imperatives (commands), all saying: Praise! Each one reveals a different dimension of praise, with song, with dance, with every musical instrument, in the holiest places and in the highest heavens.
