Do not be overly excited

To change your destiny- Do not be overly excited

By Sami Bsoul

If you want to change your destiny, it's important not to get overly excited about things that you know you won't actually follow through on. Enthusiasm is great, but it's not enough to achieve your goals. Instead of talking a lot, try to work more and listen more. Evaluate yourself every day based on what you've actually done, not just what you've talked about doing. Remember that empty words have no value.

It's important to be sincere and persistent in your pursuit of your goals. Sometimes people have a lot of wishes and desires, but when it comes time to take action to achieve them, they back away. This kind of weakness and lethargy can hold you back from reaching your full potential.

Your wishes and desires are only as valuable as the actions you take to pursue them. It's not enough to just talk about what you want; you need to be honest with yourself and others about what you're willing to do to make those wishes a reality. Your actions are what truly define you and determine your success.

Often, people get caught up in the

idea of achieving some grand vision or reaching a particular destination, but what's important is not just the end result. It's the journey that counts. It's about the experiences you gain, the lessons you learn, and the person you become along the way.

Think of it this way: life is like a road trip. You may have a general idea of where you want to go, but the real adventure is in the detours, the unexpected stops, and the people you meet along the way. It's in the moments of joy and the moments of hardship, and how you navigate them. It's in the memories you make and the stories you can tell later on.

So, instead of focusing solely on achieving specific goals, try to enjoy the journey. Embrace the challenges, learn from your failures, and celebrate your successes. Appreciate the people who help you along the way, and cherish the memories you make. Because in the end, it's the journey that shapes us and gives our lives meaning.

It may be helpful to cultivate a growth mindset, where one sees challenges and setbacks as opportunities for learning and improvement rather than as failures. This can help with persevering through tough times and maintaining a sense of motivation and purpose.

Cultivating a growth mindset means embracing the idea that our abilities and skills are not set in stone and can be developed through effort, practice, and learning. It involves seeing challenges, setbacks, and failures as opportunities for growth and improvement rather than as indications of one's inadequacy or incompetence.

For example, imagine someone who has always struggled with public speaking. In the past, they may have avoided speaking opportunities altogether, seeing their anxiety and nervousness as proof that they simply weren't cut out for it. However, with a growth mindset, they would instead view each speaking opportunity as a chance to learn and improve, recognizing that with practice and feedback, they can gradually become more confident and effective speakers.

Similarly, imagine someone who has experienced a setback in their career, such as losing their job or failing to get a promotion they were hoping for. With a growth mindset, they would see this as an opportunity to learn from their experiences, assess their strengths and weaknesses, and identify areas for improvement. They would be more likely to view the setback as a temporary obstacle, rather than a permanent failure, and would be more motivated to keep working towards their goals.

In both of these examples, cultivating a growth mindset can help individuals persevere through tough times and maintain a sense of motivation and purpose. By focusing on the opportunities for learning and improvement, rather than dwelling on the setbacks or failures, they are more likely to continue making progress towards their goals and achieving success in the long run.
