Be soft like water

To change your destiny- Be soft like water

By Sami Bsoul

What is stronger than the steadfast mountains that withstand mighty winds?

What is stronger than the iron that cuts down the mountains?

What is stronger than the fire that melts the iron?

What is stronger than the water that extinguishes the fire?

It's water, which can be soft and powerful at the same time.

So, be soft like water.

Be deep in your thoughts, and smile.

Believe in your abilities and don't let anyone else define your self-worth.

Listen to others, but make decisions based on what you find convincing.

Don't exhaust yourself trying to be perfect.

Remember that imperfection is a part of being human, and it's what makes us unique and special.

Embrace your

imperfections and be gentle with yourself:

  • When facing a challenging situation, being flexible allows one to see different perspectives and find new solutions that may not have been apparent before.

  • Adapting to changes in circumstances can help one stay on track towards their goals, even if the path to get there changes.

  • Flexibility can also help one build stronger relationships by being open to compromise and communication with others.

It's important to recognize that perfectionism can often be a hindrance to success and happiness. Striving for perfection can lead to burnout, anxiety, and feelings of inadequacy.

Therefore, self-care and self-compassion are crucial in maintaining a healthy mindset and achieving one's goals. Here are some ways to practice self-care and self-compassion:

  • Take breaks when needed and prioritize rest and relaxation to avoid burnout.

  • Accept that mistakes and failures are a natural part of growth and learning, and try not to be too hard on oneself when they occur.

  • Focus on progress rather than perfection, celebrating small victories and milestones along the way.

  • Practice self-compassion by treating oneself with kindness and understanding, just as one would treat a close friend.
